WORKING TITLE

THE PLAN:

This film will stand for the mixing of mediums that I have grown to appreciate, a knowledge of the history of motion pictures that I am drawing from, and the melancholy moods that I find interesting and comforting.

The project is currently on hold, awaiting time and funding...

SKETCHES:

Before coming up with a solid sequence of events I needed a setting and a mood.

This video, my third, would focus on guilt, remorse, and ultimately forgiveness. It would happen through the eyes of a child, which may be cliche, but it also allows me the freedom to experiment with imagination, and this is why I've chosen him as my character.

THE STORYBOARD:

In order to best plan out what I will need to draw for the hand-drawn animation, I drew pictures of all the main images I wished to capture. The camera angles and movement are close to what I hope to create.

The second half of the film will be constructed digitally, and for that portion I seldom create storyboards, rather I use cameras in After Effects to set up shots as I go.

PUPPETS and MODELS:

The "inner imagination" sequence will involve a mix of many forms of visual design, including some physical creations.

These puppets and models will be composited into a single continuous scene of the journey through the child's "personal hell" of guilt.
